⁴⁷ For this reason I tell you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven—for she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little. ⁴⁸ He then said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.”

⁴⁹ But those who were reclining at table with Him began to say to one another, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”
